Data Security
“nyris has incorporated GDPR requirements into ins business DNA. The company has assigned a data protection officer. nyris runs regular data protection audits and challenges its security by penetration tests. Employees are obliged to confidentiality, processors are bound by data processing agreements (“DPAs”). GDPR documents like register of processes and data protection information are maintained. Rights of data subjects can be served upon such request
Data protection is part of the product design process. nyris follows a strict personal data minimization approach. The technology actively scans pictures for personal data – with the objective to anonymize all aspects of personal data at first hand. Weblog data (e.g. IP address) derived of picture uploads is not stored in reference to uploaded picture.
nyris provides separate instances for each customer or project. DPAs are signed with customers as controllers. To optimize the recognition quality of products or product equivalents anonymized pictures are stored for time periods as agreed with controller.”
